You should of gotten informative papers before class. Are you serious about RCIA or just checking it out to report here?? If that's the case, better to just read the Catechism.
Nope. Nothing. I was just told when to show up. It's a meal and DVD.

Have fun...likely you will already be far ahead of most of the other attendees, but it is a good way to learn more. Hopefully the priest is very involved....in my RCIA the priest was not that involved. The teacher was a wonderful and genuine woman, but she lacked knowledge that she should know IMO.

RCIA in my area is on going but Alpha starts next week.

Alpha would suck. Hopefully you don't have to do it. Most RCIA starts with inquiry where you ask questions and learn about the Catholic Church and then when you feel ready you can ask to join the Catechumenate. I assume a fella with your knowledge of the faith could get into the Catechumenate rather fast.

Like I'd believe a single word you said after this insincere, unchristian and disingenous act. The priest is actually doing the classes? Hmmm.
I was told to lead the discussion by the Priest haha

Yes, in this "Catholic Family of Parishes" the Priest is taking part. It's a meal, then DVD, followed by discussion.

Wait...uh, yeah, this is still the Reformed section. Okay, well, you might find, here, that we define "unchristian" a little differently than you do.

The priest asked me....I didn't ask him. I told him I was a Calvinist.
