  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Yeah, I've heard that he's really good. I think he just came out with a new one called Holy Rosary. I'd like to get Rome Sweet Home and see what he's got to say.

Joe, I'm sorry I'm late to this. I just want to tell you that I am so touched by you. I remember feeling the same when I started my journey to the Church. A touch skeptic, but more curious than anything. And gradually I moved up through a willingness to believe to an intense longing to participate. At your next Mass, search out the Real Presence during the Consecration. Listen to the words and hold them in your heart. You will find Him. I promise.

God bless you and the Peace of Christ be with you.

Joe,

I'm so pleased to hear this from you. I feel the same when I eat the eaucharist, and I love it. I can feel the holy spirit inside of me getting strengthened. I go to mass every day now! It's such an addiction, God that is. When I first began going to mass every day, God would touch me in ways i can't explain. I would cry with happiness on my drive home, it was that powerfull. Then after a while, that emtional response went away, but I don't need it anymore. See, that "feeling" of God's presence is a blessing from God during the times we need it or pray for it. God sometimes takes that "feeling" away to let us be on our own for a while. Some call this "Dry spells". I had one not too long ago, but I pulled out of it by reading my bible more and going to church more often. God then in turn made me stronger and more able to be let on my own, which is such a blessing. Anyway, I got off topic a tid bit!

I just wanted to say that my mom is head of our RCIA in our church and she does such a wonderfull job there. She has helped convert so many people, and is so close to God. I have been blessed with such a spiritual guide, and I can't thank God enough.

God bless you all!
