I am shocked that I was unable to find anything at all on CF about the RRS.. Some of you may have seen it on TV. Rational Response Squad is an atheist movement that is making an attempt to destroy Christianity.

When I first heard of them I gained this strong conviction to find a way to take them down.

As if the world is not filled with enough spiritual battles, this has been unleashed apon us all.

They speak of a thing called the Blasphemy Challenge. Mark 3:29 says "But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation"

They challenge the public to make a short video clip of themselves denying the holy spirit and they will receive a free copy of their DVD "The God Who Wasn't There" and I think they get entered into some contest to win money.

People are denying God SIMPLY FOR A FREE DVD!!

All I can say is that this is truely sick..

They have already gotten 1156 people to post a video of themselves denying the holy spirit.

I guess that searching wasn't working last night because today I found four threads about the RRS. I don't want to be reposting things that have already been said before.. but I really feel that this is important.

Kind of hoping that somebody will reply.. maybe we could all debate a way to put a stop to this?

No offense brother, but what exactly would we accomplish?

As Sun Tzu said, planning to fight exetended campaigns without intent for swift victory will simply drain the state and demoralize and strain the army.

I would say this, because what we would be fighting/resisting is not a person or people but a thing, an ideal. If "V For Vendetta" taught us anything, it was that you cannot pierce the breast of ideas with sword or knife, nor halt it with a bullet.

Not to strike you down, but I would just say we should think less on attacking ideals and more how we ourselves can become better representatives of our Heavenly Father and Personal Savoir.

If we can do that, then at least the slings and arrows shot at us will do no harm. It's not exactly making them bounce off of us and into the bodies of our enemy, but I'd say it's better than exhaustion.

The RRS has no power to bind people to hell. Their mantra is powerless. That is not what the verse means. Jesus Christ can and will break the power of Satan's lies... and He has saved many who were deceived into thinking they had commited the unpardonable sin... which is rejecting Christ. That is, assigning the miracles of Jesus to the devil. And if anyone believes in the devil, he/she is far more likely to turn to Christ. Why not? He is the divine Winner and Lover. He is the only true God and our only Savior and Master. He offers eternal life and peace and confidence. The RRS has nothing.
