I am a Christian of course. But is it bad that I do not want the Rapture to happen right now because I want to be able to grow up and have a family and just be able to live my life? I of course want it to happen eventually, but does anyone else feel the same way?

There's nothing wrong with feeling like that. After all, most people don't want to die young even if they know they're going to heaven. Same kind of thing :)

I sometimes feel the same way. My best friends aren't saved and it pains me to think of them in hell. They've heard the gospel many times but don't seem to care.
I also want to have a family when I am older, but God knows what's best for us. We must always remember that.

This is a rhetorical question, I was just offering you another way of looking at things.

Peace-
That is a good way to look at it.

I know what you're thinking! I used to think that way. I don't know what happened, but now I have a different veiw on life. I see it now as a test. Not the real thing. Think about it this way. In heaven, were going to be there for eternity. Here on earth we will be here for only about 75 years (or less, depending on our helth or the rapture). Plus, if the rapture does come, we're going to reign for 1000 years here on earth with him, and I don't know what that will be like, but I imagine that'll give you plenty of time to get a wife and family and job. And, honestly, if you really don't want the rapture yet, I think you should question your love for God (no offense; I'm not saying you're a sinner). I hope I helped you in some way.

When I was 22 I recall begging God not to let it happen until I had lived some life... Now, years later, I cannot wait for it to happen. I understand how you feel. Someday, perhaps you will be wishing each day that TODAY might be the day!

I feel that way... Maybe today... Sometimes I get worried about my pets though! I have even put put extra water and food if politically it seems like signs are happening...;)
