Rapture

What are your guy's thought's on the rapture. The word is not used in the Bible but there are description's of God taking full control and taking us out in the twinkling of an Eye. I'm kinda confused on this.

I am no Bible scholar, but I like the part of Jesus coming back and us being taken to him in the twinkling of an eye. Perhaps it alludes to a rapture even if the word rapture is not specifically used. God be with you...

I can see the word used to desribe what would happen but also wasn't a Guy who came up with a time line and called it the rapture. And that's where the Seventh Day advent's come from. But they stick to the word so I got to give them prop's for that.

I do believe that God will take all believers away on this earth, when that happens? IDK, post/pre tribulation is something I don't think I wanna argue about, I just know it will happen. And either way- I want to be "rapture" ready

I agree with LadyL being rapture ready is very very important. I wish I knew more about it but I really don't.
