Rap with a Message

I remeber participating in the Eminem vs. KJ52 thread.
I never really listened to rap because it has no message and my parents
don't approve.
Any body know of good rappers that speak with meaning?
Few or no cuss words please.

anyways, to answer your question, Tupac Shakur has a lot of deep songs..so does Common, Jay-Z,and some of Nas. Also check out early albums of Eminem and 50 cent....contrary to what people say, there is a rap out there with a good message..and just cause there is cussing doesnt mean its bad music..good luck with your search.

Eminem gets to me alot cause he has alot of crap.. but there are a few I really like by him. Despite morally offensive stuff, he is a master lyricist. his new one 'When i'm gone' is pretty good lyrically.

I despise rap, i really do, but that eminem fellow sure can rhyme some words up like no one else.

If i ever were to listen to rap, it'd probably be the rappers that can rhyme well, and not just the same words, or really easy rhymes either. Especially freestyle, it takes alot of talent to rhyme well just off the top of you head.
