Doesn't matter. The very thing extremists on both sides have assailed him for doing, reaching out to people with whom he disagrees, is precisely what America needs now. A we need someone who can unite us; people realize the damage that our divider-in-chief has done to America.

It's not just him bungling the COVID-19 crisis.

If you are going to quote me, please use the entire sentence. As for the President "bungling" anything, that, while being the latest and greatest propaganda from the left, is far from accurate.

The experts were saying there would be between 1,000,000 to 2,000,000 dead -

There is, at this point 100k+ - not even close to what was projected. If the President bungled it - were are the casualties like the experts were calling for?

Here comes the spin.......

@tulc I'm wondering if you can provide some sort of evidence of the "rank in file" and their attempts to block the President's reelection.

It's precisely right. Other nations acted quickly. The pandemic is over or almost gone in those nations. Trump spent a couple of weeks saying that the concerns were a "hoax." When he finally got on to it, it was to late to save tens of thousands of people. Here comes the spin.......

The experts were saying there would be between 1,000,000 to 2,000,000 dead -

Well, let's take a look...

Officials at the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention and epidemic experts from universities around the world conferred last month to explore different scenarios, predicting how many fatalities there’d be if no actions were taken to slow transmission.

Between 160 million and 214 million people in the United States could be infected over the course of the epidemic, according to one projection detailed in the New York Times.

That could last months or even over a year. And as many as 200,000 to 1.7 million people could die.

To make matters worse, if an estimated 2.4 million to 21 million people in the United States required hospitalisation, the strain could potentially crush the nation’s medical system, which has only about 925,000 staffed hospital beds.

To be clear, those numbers don’t account for interventions currently under way.

Experts predict millions of COVID-19 deaths, as President insists it ‘will pass’

Imagine that.

ah, I did read the op, and looked at the link. I even listened to Jack from Michigan’s video.

Still looking for rank in file Republicans and how they are trying to block the President from being re elected.

It is like my saying that tank in file Democrats are trying to block Biden from being elected and using #walkaway testimony as proof.

Good click bait, but lacking substance. Especially since the President hold a greater than 94% approval with actual rank in file Republicans.

You can always hope.

Are you saying that the Republicans this article is talking about aren't "actual" rack and file Republicans?

They are as much as #walkaway members are rank in file Democrats.

Just a lot fewer of them than republicans giving up on Trump.

Donald Trump had a massive meltdown over polls that showed him trailing Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential race, according to multiple reports. The president reportedly screamed at his campaign manager Brad Parscale while he was meeting with advisers last week as his poll numbers tumbled after the president suggested injecting disinfectant as a possible treatment for coronavirus. Three sources close to the president told CNN that Trump berated Parscale for the falling poll numbers and even threatened to sue his campaign manager, although it is unclear how serious Trump’s threat was.

Well, he did once. But...

All polls are based on surveys done at the end of May. No margin of error, among the polls that provide them, would be large enough to deliver the 94% that Trump claimed.

#walkaway - The WalkAway campaign, also styled #WalkAway, created on May 30, 2018, by New York City resident Brandon Straka, is an an independent, grass-roots social media campaign in which American voters upload personal testimonials to Facebook and YouTube explaining why they have left or "walked away" from the Democratic Party and/or the politically-divisive Left.

I don't see what you are seeing. The Republicans in those testimonies are not walking away from the Republican party. They're just not voting for Trump. They may vote for other Republicans that are running.
I know someone right now who isn't voting for Trump but may vote to re-elect Republican Senator Cory Gardner and they voted for their Republican House Representative in 2018.

You did not answer my question - do you consider the #walkaway people rank in file Democrats? Yes, no?

Biden has been harshly criticized by the extreme left and the extreme right for his willingness to treat opposing people as humans and for his willingness to work with them.

That's precisely what we need now.
This is the best endorsement for Biden I've heard so far.
I'm not a fan. I have never voted for a democrat for president, ever. I have voted third party since 2000.

The irony is, in the present angry environment, all sides have angrily criticized Biden's tendency to look for common ground. But I think a lot of Americans are starting to think maybe getting along with those of other ideologies is a pretty good quality.

You know, it was one of the reasons that Reagan was so successful in getting things he wanted. He ceaselessly attacked the ideas of the left, but he was very good friends with Ted Kennedy.

"Most people didn't realize the friendship, or didn't accept it, or didn't know about the friendship,” she told CNN’s Larry King. “You know, Ronny was so identified with the Republican Party. And Teddy obviously with the Democrat Party. But that doesn't make any difference, Larry, really. It shouldn't make any difference. I'm afraid it does now, but it shouldn't."
