CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I got bed socks in winter for the first time. It's not as hot here as it is where you are I presume. I did wear thongs (flip flops) all day though.

Lol @ "thongs"! I love how we as Aussies need to clarify that! I remember the first time I mentioned it to one of my friends from the USA, I said "My son wanted to go out wearing socks and thongs"! She cracked up laughing, cos of course they usually think of thongs as...ummm.....items of underwear!

DONOT WEAR THESE SOCKS they are so ugly to me that they are only illegal in my street particularly near my house two inches on our premises and its a jail sentence for a year THeir yucky colour combo makes them highly toxic near my house if they come near my house you have to wear gas masks - a way of diplomatically saying I don't like them

YEh in NZ were kinda funny we wear the socks with the jandals/ thongsI got bed socks in winter for the first time. It's not as hot here as it is where you are I presume. I did wear thongs (flip flops) all day though.
