What happens when an emetophobe purges?

(emetophobia = fear of vomiting)

It's really one of those logic questions.
Would s/he get a panic attack while purging and choke to death?
or would it cure the phobia?

I'm an emetophobe.
I'm also getting the urge to purge.
I was wondering what would happen if I did, but I don't really want to try it tonight. Eheh.

For me, it didn't help the fear go away. The fear was still there afterwards. Why do you want to do that anyways?

I have this fear, but it's not an extreme or debilitating fear. Most of my anxiety happens when I start getting the feeling like I have to throw up (intense stomach pains due to flu virus or something). I just can't stand that feeling and I think I make myself even sicker because of all the anxiety I have towards it. I haven't thrown up for... 13 years now. I just never get sick anymore.
