Why is it that a car blinker never keeps the tempo of the music playing? The blinker's rhythm will always start steady and on a certain beat and then slowly slide off of the beat. It seems like something mechanical... would be pretty monotonous and steady, but a blinker isn't. I wonder why? I don't know, maybe if I understood the makeup of cars or machines in general it would make more sense. I first noticed this when I was probably around 10 or so.
Oh well, it's no metronome of course.
