I think when people get older they look back on their lives and their failures and get depressed. When she's depressed she's really bad to me. My brother passed away in 1972, she's never been the same since. So when she's depressed I avoid her, which sounds horrible but it's for my own mental health.
That is certainly understandable. I have a good friend whose brother is bi-poloar and refuses to take his meds. So she has to do the same thing in order to protect herself.

He was in an accident. He was in the Navy and coming home for Christmas. Just back from Spain, he and a buddy had hitchhiked into Norfolk, VA, on their way back he was struck by a car. He was 24.
Oh how horrible. How sad.

Yes that is sad!

I'm so thankful that I had him in my life 14 years. Hey, he would eat my veggies.

I think one of my callings is to work at a Hospice. When I was 14 no one my age could relate to what I was going through. I have a lot to offer kids that are dealing with death. I just need to get on the stick and do something.

Yes, I agree. I don't think that there's anything that happens to us that God can't use.

LOL, thanks, Deb! I would never dress like this in real life, but isn't that some of the fun in here, that we can dare trying different looks without becoming the ''talk of the town'' and an embarassment to our children.^_^
Hey, what a good and unique idea. I love embarrassing my kids.

Ha ha ha!!! ^_^ Don't they feel embarassed just because that's how it's supposed to be, lol. My daughter is 14 (almost 15) and does not want to be seen with me at times, lol.
Pleased to meet you, Norway.

I saw your photo. Your husband has good taste. Your daughter must not have inherited his genes. :)

How many do you need?
Well, I wasn't actually asking for any. I was just saying . . .

Wow, the folks here are generous (if you were offering, that is). PassionateWorshipper gave me some blessings for a character, and gumpsmom gave me some clothes.

Still, somehow, my purchasing power has dwindled (it was down to nothing when I gave my last nine away to someone who complimented me on my username).

I feel so, er. . .

loved.
