What is it with people? Is there a full moon? I am not superstitious, but it seems people are just downright rude and obnoxious lately.

nope, it's not your imagination; I've noticed the trend of rudeness had gotten worse in the last 5 years. Regardless of age, it's there, unfortunately--especially people who are supposed to be there for their customers.

I just hope this agent will help me and not flake out on me. She sounds sincere on the phone, but interviewing her will confirm what I want/don't want in an agent.

Hi ALL, just dropped in and thought i would give you an update on my pet search.

It appears we are about to have a draw between the Monkey, and a Dog!

So if anyone hasn't voted I will have to come up with a way of resolving this.

I will end this poll by the end of the week so make sure everyone has had a chance to vote.

Thanks, it's supposed to get cold tonight, I wanted to make sure I was warm!!! lol!!! It was almost 80 degrees today, and now we are under a winter storm watch!!! Go figure!!! And I am going to Dallas this weekend!!!

Yep, that's in the east-bound lane of I-20 just this side of Waskom!!

If the tickets weren't already bought, I would consider canceling, but my SIL has already paid for them, and I am not sure she can get a refund. We are going to Midevil Times. Besides, I want to see her. I haven't seen her since she was still legally my SIL (about 17 years ago), and she is still my daughter's aunt!

Tuesday evening, between 5:00-5:30pm on my way home...in one section of South Salem, it rained so hard, with snow mixed in, at 42° that it stopped when I pulled up in my driveway. That whole incidence lasted 20 minutes, with wipers on "FAST" with 20% visibility. Freakin' weather I've ever been in. What makes it weirder was that we had above 45 degrees sunny weather for 2-3 days in a row before that.

Lori, the weather gets weirder each year anymore, I find it reassuring, it just signals his rapid return [sounds like a tax comercial ]

Yeah, it is past time. It's really funny, I get along with all of my inlaws. Just not the ex!! My sil tells me I am her favorite of all her brother's wives!! This wife he has now, doesn't like any of his family, and that is a shame, because they are great people!

* having finally returned after being banished to the nether realm of "REALITY" J1stK walks dazedly into the sanctuary of the 'Random Lounge'.

*Looking around as though still in a daze he is aware of the over-all cleanlyness and comforting smells. He slowly walks behind the counter and turns on the expresso machine hopeing this will help in his recovery.

*While waiting for the machine to come to temp. he fills the milk container, and then wanders into the kitchen to see what there. Not so much that he is hungery, but habit dictates that others will be arriving soon insearch of a good start on another day in the RW.

*Finding some grapes, cheese and some various pastyies in the freezer he set about preparing some basics for his long missed friends.

Well this should serv to tide folks over till lunch, I wonder how everyone has been? Doesn't look like JD has been around for a while, the fridge is about barren, and when he's around there is always something left over. The coffee ought to be about ready, so I guess I'll make a latte and see about a fire, some people still think it's winter

* walking back out to the front as the pastryies are heating in the oven J1stK prepares a latte and takes stock of the much needed syrups and such. Then he heads over to the fire place grabs the metal bucket and proceeds to clear out some of the ash so he can start a new fire.

*Returning from the ally with the empty ash bucket J1stK pulls the pastries from the oven to cool and goes bak out front to check on the fire he had just started.

Well thats doing nicely, I'll get some water going and start a fresh pot of regular strong coffee. I wonder how John is likeing his honeymoon, they ought to be getting back some time soon, after-all can't vacation forever. LOL Well all I got left to do is set up these trays and then I can grab another latte and enjoy the fire till everyone gets here or I have to leave which ever comes first.
*Finishing the pastry trays J1stK carries them out fron, grabs another latte and heads for a recliner by the fire.
