At the Grandparent's

Two young boys were spending the night at their grandparents. At bedtime, the two boysknelt beside their beds to say their prayers when the youngest one began praying at thetop of his lungs. "I PRAY FOR A NEW BICYCLE... I PRAY FOR A NEW NINTENDO... I PRAY FOR A NEW VCR..." His older brother leaned over and nudged the younger brother and said, "Why are youshouting your prayers? God isn't deaf." To which the little brother replied, "No, butGramma is!" ​

Check Is In The Mail,The

After her 90th birthday, Marie found that shopping for Christmas gifts had become toodifficult, so she decided to send checks to everyone instead. On each card, she wrote,"Buy your own present," and she mailed them early. Marie enjoyed the usual flurry of family festivities. Only after Christmas did she get around to clearing off her cluttered desk. Under a stack of papers, she was horrified to find the gift checks which she hadforgotten to enclose. ​
