As a foster parent for the State of Iowa I took care of a 14 year old child that was raped and got pregnant by the rapist. The girls mother wanted to kill the baby as you would have. Now 11 years later the girl that was raped is happy she chose to not kill but give the child to a family she pick out. The boy you would have killed is in fifth grade. My question to you is what would you have done to the rapist?

I bolded the crucial part of your post. She chose. Good for her. But why deny letting others make a choice?

As for the rapist, I would have him punished to the full extent of the law.

I read the link and followed the hyperlinks. I saw no evidence for what they claimed. The only thing I saw was that one of the researchers had the idea that "stupidity" was a genetic condition. A rather silly position I think, but there are lots of people with silly opinions. I'm even willing to bet I have a couple.

Other then that, the only thing was a researcher saying they work working on a detection method.

Furthermore, I don't know of very many social conservatives that are "pro-choice" as you would call it...

I don't see of any other reason for trying to detect Autism while the child is still in the womb either.

He can disagree all he wants. He still has no legal standing. At least until this bill passes. I have to admit I would like to see the legal proceedings regarding how to interpret the will of something that has never had volition of it's own.

As a foster parent for the State of Iowa I know this, the child always gets their own attorney to speak on their behalf, even if the child can't speak for them selves. Those who have no voice deserves someone to speak for their best interest. Gods eye is on those children even in the womb. My Heavenly Father will judge those who murder all his little children.
