Possible negligence isn't evidence. Negligence is
Really?
Care to retract what you said. Or how about this one?
Which leftists? Were have they advocated abortion as a cure for autism? Because I did a Google search and came up empty.
Possible negligence isn't evidence. Negligence is
That's the topic of this discussionThose posts, and especially mine are in response to how people would want to define a fetus as a full human being with full rights.
Making abortion illegal doesn't necessarily grant a fetus equal protection and full rights, it just simply says women aren't allowed full sovereignty over their own bodies.
So no retraction is required, my post was in regards to a specific scenario, one that is championed by many pro lifers. It doesn't conflict with what I stated above, which applies to a more broader view of banning abortions.
The same way you do when a 40 year old man drops dead in the parking lot of a shopping center.
You first have to have a reason to suspect the woman
What if she's married and wanted to be single and her husband dropped dead? Would you suspect her?
Sorry, but that doesn't follow. An abortion requires outside interference with the pregnancy.
She could possibly get away with it. We've had that experience before in this country an abortionists were duly charged when caught. Yet not every miscarriage in those days was investigated as a homicideAnd if she has an abortion, and there's no investigation to follow up, how would anyone know the difference?
She could go to some underground abortion provider, get it done, claim she had a miscarriage and that's the end of it without an investigation.

What would give you cause to call for an investigation in that case?
