Are there any other radio-lovers out there?

I'm serious about it. I love radio. It's always there without fail. It's been around for at least a hundred years. It's both old and new at the same time.

In recent years I've been listening to it more than CD's or any other audio format. I feel a certain "connection" with other people in my city when I am listening. That's something I really feel is missing in today's society, especially music-wise. I feel like I should have grown up in the 60's or something. Or even the 40's.

Music. News. Talk. I love it all.

Actually, long ago...when life was simple...I used to like lay in the dark with the window open and the cool breeze... and listen to Delilah throughout the night. When... life was simple.
I haven't heard her show in aaages though. And I probably wouldn't listen to it now, except for nostalgic reasons. :D

Radio is good when you wanna relax. Otherwise, I like CD's.

Radio is the best when you are driving with someone else and you don't like exactly the same music. Playing CD's, one of you is sure to become annoyed by the selection.

Radio is a "city" thing. One reason I don't like the country is that there is no radio, or very little. I always look forward to listening to the radio when I visit other cities. I wish they would allow radio's on airplanes.
