and other lies to further their agenda (which includes the erasure of the existing cultures, especially Judeo-Christian, English, European-based cultures of Canada).Ontario has no culture

Can you not display your religious affiliation publically? Can you not congregate with like-minded individuals in public and private? This "martyr" syndrome is getting old.
Kintonets said:No, we as Christians are constantly bashed for placing the Nativity in public places or for displaying anything other than the Pagan Yuletide displays. Most companies are having "Seasons Parties" rather than the traditional Christmas Parties. The original poster has a valid point. Our Christian rights are being eroded at an exponential rate by small minority religions within our country. When our forefathers granted freedom of religion they did not intend for small special interest groups to stifle and destroy the prevailing religion of Christianity. (don't make me quote Ben Franklin and George Washington) They intended for people to all get on the "My religion is the only way" mentality. And one other thing...the Australian thing is NOT about race. My mother-in-law and father-in-law live in Australia and have made me aware that much of this hostiliy stems from a recent attempt to cause a Nuclear Meltdown in Sydney. Terrorist were twarted and found to have detailed blueprints of the Nuclear power plant. So no, this not about race...it is about stopping a terrorist regime from killing innocent people when the problem has grown so big that the Government can't or won't fight the problem.
So thats my two cents

There are "cultures" that are Judeo-Christian based, such as Canada's. An attack on the culture can be indistinguishable to an attack on Christianity, an attempt to diminish it, block the Gospel and so on.
The issue is complicated, as all things are. It is pretty clear to me that there are people and forces inimicable to things they perceive as either "white" or "Christian" or even European-based. Why - how should I know? Why did so many Americans hate Blacks for so long? Why do the Turks hate the Kurds?
Here in Canada, I'm pretty sure there are Quebecers [and others] who despise cultures such as the ones that have developed in Newfoundland and in Nova Scotia. And they'd use their power to swamp these areas with immigrants to awash these cultures away.
So why I hear comments from MPs that Halifax is "too white" I get concerned.
When I read in this foreum what was going on in Australia and heard that it was supposedly "racist", I doubted.
I doubted because I had heard on the radio a woman who was commenting on the politically correct goings on in Australia. And it occured to me that the big riot in Australia probably wasn't so racist as was people being fed up with always having to diminish their own culture lest, God forbid, someone who already hates that culture is offended.
Kudos to Her Excellency Michaelle Jean for insisting it is a Christmas Tree.
All I can say to white-haters and black-haters and bigots everywhere is "Na na na na na nahhhhhhh!![]()
Don't know what country you're in...but...if you dont live in a theocracy you cant expect the country to revolve around your religion.
No, you can leave. If you can't stand where this country is going with its multiculturalism, why don't you go not another "so much better country".Galilean said:Actually, in Australia, there is no reason why the country cannot revolve around our religion, I don't even think there is a constitutional principle about the seperation of the church and state, a christian public school for instance, would be fully eligible, and we have every right to keep christianity the central and main religion, which can include restricting the predominance of other religions.
Multiculturalism is also totally and absolutely against everything this country was founded and established for, the 'found fathers' if you will of australia, like edmund barton the first prime minister. If you don't like the values and ideals Australia was established on, rather then disrespecting them and trying to annihalte them, you can leave. Seeing as our current government is very pro-multicultural, it is a wonder why they acknowledge men like Edmund Barton, the constitution writers, and all of the prime ministers up until gough whitlam, why aren't they denouncing them? seeing as they stood for the absolute opposite of everything the current government and status quo stands for.

But anyway, why don't you just blame the Jews?Myers, the largest & most exclusive department store in Australia is owned by Sydney Myers - a Jew of course.
Now, how can you expect to demand Nativity scenes at Myers... Dial 1300-Hitler?
You cannot in your right mind criticize Australia for being democratic.Kintonets said:If you want to identify the real rulers of any society, simply ask yourself this question:
