Hi rdee:hug: :D
Thank you, everyone who replied, for the advice.

I'm down to 2-3 cigs a day and hope to quit within the week. I would have tried Wellbutrin, but I'm already on Celexa. My doctor told me not to use patches or gum because of the drugs I'm on, so I have used other means.

Sorry I've missed you rdee.

Talk to your doctor again. You are now smoking while on your meds. The patch merely administers nicotine to you while you learn to do other stuff with your hands and mouth - a big part of the smoking habit. So you're getting nicotine no matter what.

I smoked very low nicotine cigs for 30 years, so I cut the patches into quarters. Very economical! :)

Also, Please continue to try to quit. I quit 10 years ago, but I have asthma and emphysema and am really crippled by it. As you can see, I've many years to go before I'm gone, but it's not much fun when you can't breath.

The Smoke Away program worked great for me. I took my first dose (vitamins & herbs) the night before I was going to quit, woke up the next morning with no cravings at all. I was impressed! The stuff really works.

I bought mine at Walmart for about $34.
