Good questions!

So have you experienced much negativity? and have you preferred to go to the parlor either on your own or with a friend?

No, I haven't experienced any negativity. I usually go by myself as my friends are either at work or doing their own thing.

Some ppl would say you are brave to go by yourself! But then, by now you're quite a veteran at having it done, aren't you?

Oh, well, you've gotten away without any negativity, then! People must either be pleased for you, or else keep their thoughts to themselves, right? :)

Most people that I know have tattoos and they have know me for a good while.

Well, yes; it's not surprising that most of your friends are tattooed as well! :) and so, really, why should they be surprised or even 'negative' about yours?

It wouldn't surprise me also, if even among your friends that are not (yet) tattooed, some of them are already considering it, right?

Thanks for your questions, Winter Rose! I appreciate it!
How about asking whether the ppl that you're going to talk to, do more tattoos than piercings? and which piercings are the most in demand? (ears, I expect, but worth asking).

Hello, folks! It's been awhile since I was last on this forum; that said, I am hopeful that everyone here are still as willing to lend a helpful hand as I recall.

As part of my position with UnCommon Christianity Ministries, I host a weekly podcast. Tomorrow we'll be talking about tattoos, piercings and general body modification with a couple of Christians who own and operate a tattoo shop.

I'd like to get questions from everyone- Is there something you've always wanted answered? An argument that you've never had a good response to? Give me what you got, and I'll be happy to bring them up on air. Let me know if you'd like to remain anon, or have your Screen Name used.

If you'd like to hear the answers for yourselves, let me know and I'll be happy to either PM you or post it.

Here's the promo graphic being used for the sake of reference.

Can I have the answers to my questions please?

If I havent missed it, I would be interested in knowing How different colours "take" or hold up.. Ie are there colours to avoid or plan to get re-inked in the future, due to issues with fading? Colours that hold there tone best?.

Yes, this is a very valid question, particularly if you want your tattoo to stand out.

(I guess you want your tattoo to be multicoloured, rather than black, etc.? Some tribal designs actually come across more effectively in just black, although there even black can fade after a few years.)

And I reckon they are tattooed and pierced themselves, also, right?

They are, yes. lol

Can I have the answers to my questions please?

Most certainly! The show will be airing live at 11pm EST/8pm PST. If you wanted to catch it yourself, you can. The link is HERE.

PS: Another question:

Does the influence / recommendation of past clients' friends or family bring a significant amount of new clients to their parlor?

Will ask!
