CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

1. If you had 3 wishes, what would you wish for?
2. If someone asked you for money but didn't tell you what they were gonna use it for, would you lend them the cash?

Thank you SO much for the questions.
For the first one, regarding the 3 wishes. The first wish I'd wish for is at least 100 more wishes...lol.
For the second question, I've learned to be very cautious about who I lend money to. It would mostly depend on my relationship with the person. I've done a lot of street ministry. It's not often that I would give someone on the streets any money.
The basic bottom line about lending or giving money is being led by the Holy Spirit. He knows who to lend to, and who not to.

Yes, morality is really bad these days. Nothing like it was in my parents' day, or even when I was being raised (in the 1950s). Part of it has to do with the music.
The #1 problem in the world today, in my opinion, is prayerlessness. Prayer is more than saying some words, and calling that prayer. It's much more serious than that. Prayer is connecting with God and seeking His will instead of our own.
Global climate change is not the only threat, but one of them. There are many things that are happening now that we're in the end times. We need to be sure we're right with our Maker, as things are escalating rapidly.

Hello. Thank you for the question. I don't celebrate Halloween. I usually just spend a quiet evening in reading or prayer or watching Christian television. I keep the lights low in case someone comes to the door. I don't answer the door.

I believe there are what is called ghosts. These are demon spirits. The Bible speaks of them. When the angel Lucifer tried to exalt himself (pride) above God, he was thrown out of heaven and took 1/3 of the angels with him. It is my understanding that these angels are demons. They're invisible spirits who try to inhabit human beings and do many wicked things.

I used to be bound with a lot of fear...but then I prayed and the Lord set me free. MANY scary things have happened in my life. Too many to count.
I used to watch horror movies, starting from when I was a pre-teen. When we're young, we're the most vulnerable to these types of things. The first horror movie I remember was called "Them." It was about giant tarantulas coming out of caves. There was a certain whistling sound that was made as a warning or something that they were coming.
I shared a bedroom with my older sister and we'd seen that movie together. That night, as we were in bed, she began making that whistling sound. Yes, I was scared. Thank God, I'm not scared any more. He does answer prayer and helps us get free of all of our fears. (See Psalm 34:4.)
