Questions about the OT..

Hi,

As many of you already know I have been spending some time in General Apologetics. It has become evident to me that one of the biggest problems there is that people are angry with God (they say they don't believe in Him) because of Old Testament matters. Why does God kill people? How can a loving God be so cruel? Many questions like this. I am trying to organize a time when some people who have strong faith and strong OT knowledge can get together and participate in a general "Bible misconceptions" or "Bible questions" thread. I have posted this request in TAW and will ask some of my friends in OBOB to help. I have one person who is willing to help so far. This has to be done at a time when everyone involved is online, I think that will be more fruitful. If there is anyone here willing to give some of their time for this cause (I know the people over there can be hard to handle sometimes but they are lost) please PM me.


I don't know if this will help at all but somehow I feel it never hurts to try.

Christie, I don't know if my knowledge is great enough that I can be of help, but I'd like to try, if I see an opening. The OT can present just the problems you have noted for both non-believers and new Christians alike. What is the name of the thread?
