Hi everyone I'm christian but I have a question to all who know what astral projection is. Who does know what it is, is it ok for a christian to practice it? Thank you all.

Astral projection is an out of body experience.
No!!!! I can't stress this enough. The occult is probably the most dangerous trap a Christian can get sucked into. Run, don't walk, to the nearest exit.

Alex, It's a dangerous practised and not condoned in the Word of God at all....Most people who dabble in the Occult are searching for God and have made a wrong turn somewhere in their lives....If you are feeling like taking a trip, try Jesus, the journey will last longer, it's one way, and the trip will take you right where your heart longs to be

It is not ok for any Christian to engage in any occult practices whatever.
There is plenty of scope within Christianity to explore your spirituality, without straying into other, very dangerous, areas.

Astral projection is far different than an out of body experience. Astral projection is thought to be when one can force there own spirit out of the body and have total control of it.

"theVirginian" is absolutely correct: Avoid this practice at all costs as it is satanic in it's operation and Satan has yet to do anything good for anyone. When demon powers yank a soul out of a body what they are really trying to do, (In difference to what they have allowed their victim to think,) is to kill that person. This is their ultimate objective although God's blessed angels prevent them from accomplishing this by sheer, sovereign mercy for mankind. It is the body that is alive for the sake of the spiritual part of man and not the spiritual man that is alive for the sake of the body just as it says in James 2:26 -
"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."
If a soul/spirit is removed from a body successfully and permanently, certain physical death will then result and this we should very much avoid unless it is God's good angels conveying a saint into heaven upon the normal physical death of that saint. Demons are murders just like their leader is said to be and in astral projection they are playing with their coveted and grisly work of killing something. Frequently they, being forbidden to slay their dupe, return that soul/spirit to it's physical body, but now that spiritual man has been exposed to vast influences of demonic power in a realm in which they the demons stand far superior to us weakly humans. Go for the Holy Spirit of God alone and find all of your spiritual experiences in this beneficent, kindly and omnipotent Being. You will be safe with Him and unsafe in all else besides.

Astral Projection, and all forms of "sorcery"arent real. In order to get most you literaly have to give your soul to satan. As a christian I dont think you would do that. I have friends who are pagan and they "Cast Spells" all the time. THEY DONT WORK. Not to say evil, demons, or satan dont exist. I know they do. But Astral Projection, and the occult is a bunch of garbage. Dont get sucked in. It would be a vast waste of time.

Actually, sorcery and astral projection are a reality.
And one doesn't knowingly have to give their soul to Satan to achieve the goals of it, though in the end that is exactly what they do, only in some cases they do not realize that is what they have done ... and that is the most horrific aspect of how "the evil one" works. Hence, "The Thief in the Night" is something he has been called.
Most Christians would not do these things, no. However, in this day and age in some places you find people who are creating "new age Chrisitianity" where they are adding aspects of things that are far from Christian and saying its ok. For instance you now have Pagans who believe in Jesus out there and since they believe in Jesus practive both, and somehow believe they are both Christian and Pagan at the same time and its ok. Well, true Christians know this isn't possible, you can not serve two masters. But these are some of the problems we all now face.
If you have Pagan friends who cast spells that don't "seem" to be working be certain of one thing, the spells may not be turning out the way its hoped to, but the binding of spirits and souls its allowing because the spells are being done is happening. When someone calls on those things they are entering into a contract of sorts and payment will be due regardless of the outcome of the spell, the cost is always the same.
Same with Astral Projection and sorcery, so what the person may only be playing a mind game or some other psychological thing, the cost will be the same because whats be called on to get what they want, is the same, if they realize what they are calling on or not. Dark Spirits don't care if you call them demons, spirits, mediums, ghosts ( and yes their is real ghosts but if you mistakenly call them ghosts of dead people, they don't care and won't tell you you're wrong) or whatever you may call them, as long as you call and they can fool you or manipulate you into something to get your soul or entrance into you, what do they care? They are only out for one thing and one thing only and how they get it, is really not what they concern themselves with. They are goal oriented, and rules? Since when did rules matter to them?
So, its not a waste of time or garbage to know and learn of these things, its actually Spiritual Warfare and the most you learn of your enemy, the better you are armed to combat it and find victory. For when you see no danger you're apt to walk directly into it, never knowing at all you were devoured.

Spirits/ghosts do exist, but I studied and practiced the Occult/ Paganism/ Wicca for many years and had mostly very poor results, (as a lot of it is pure lies made up by sick-minded individuals in the mid 20th century to liven up their dull and meaningless lives).
Creating a doorway "to other realms" will do your mental health no good AT ALL and it is a portal for Satan however well meaning your intention originally.
I thoroughly recommend that you steer clear of all supernatural things that are not of Our Lord, even benevolent spirits can be used as a disguise for evil
