John 13.2. 27
2.The Devil had already put it into the heart of Judas, son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Him.
27.After he received the piece of bread, Satan entered into him, Jesus said to him, “Do quickly what you are going to do.”

Matthew 26.24
24.The Son of man goes as it is written of Him, but woe to that one by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It would have been better for that one not to have been born.”

Mark 14.21
21.The Son of man goes as it is written of Him, (Isaiah 53.1-12) but woe to that one by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It would have been better for that one not to have been born.”

Judas actually did repented because he knew that Jesus was innocent, and Judas was not cold blooded murderer or something like it, and this is why his own conscience troubled him.

But nowhere in the Scripture is written that he repented to GOD directly. I myself always wonder about it and asked myself a question, “If Judas actually would repented directly to GOD, would GOD forgives him?” I think GOD may forgive Judas.

The prophesy about traitor of Christ already prophesied about him, foreseeing many years ahead of time that such a man will be lost, and this is exactly that happen.

The prophesy about traitor of Christ does not predetermined him to be a traitor by default, but only foreseen that it would certainly happen and he will be lost.

So I think that Judas was lost because he repented in himself, but not to GOD, and because of it he perished forever. Indeed, for him it would be better not to be born at all.

2Peter 2.20-22
20.If after they have escaped the defilement of the world by the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and are overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.
21.It would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than having known it to turn away from the holy commandment delivered to them.
22.It has happened to them according to the true proverb, "A dog returns to its own vomit, after washing returns to wallowing in the mire."

And this also very much relates and to us, that beside the slogan, and the dogma, and the headline which said that those who are saved never will loose their salvation, seems to me not as a truth.

There is number of other passages in the Bible saying that it is possible by knowing all the goodness of GOD return back to old sinful previous life and lose salvation.

First Timothy 1.19
19.having faith and a good conscience. By rejecting conscience, certain persons have suffered shipwreck in the faith,

First Timothy 4.1
1.Now, the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will renounce the faith by paying attention to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,

First Timothy 6.10
10.The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and in their eagerness to be rich some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pains.

To Hebrews 6.4
4.It is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened and have tasted the Heavenly gift and have shared in the Holy Spirit,

Luke 8.12
From Jesus’ Parable about the sower

12.The once on the path are those who have heard, then Devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.

Judas was sent with the 12 Apostles by Jesus Christ to heal, and to resurrect the dead, and even to forgive sins. And Judas experienced it all. And I do not know any other person in the world who would experience so much as Judas experienced and did when he was with the 12, not mentioning all the miracles and great wonders that Jesus Christ did Himself before his eyes.

Actually Jesus later sent another 500 men to do the same things, and how many fail of them is unknown, but the point is this, that if a man as Judas who had a Holy Spirit on him and did such great miracles as GOD Himself did, and still fail the Lord, how much harder it will be for us to stay with the Lord and not fail Him, for us who did not experienced even a small fraction of what of Judas had?

Matthew 7.13-14.21-23
13."Enter through the narrow gate, the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it.
14.The gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

21.Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father in Heaven.

22.On that day many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?’

23.Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you, go away from me you evildoers.’

So even those who have such powers as Judas had, to heal, to resurrect from the dead, to cast out demons, all of it by the name of Jesus Christ, they would not be accepted by GOD and enter His Kingdom, because they did all of it for themselves and fore their own glory, and for their own profit, and for their own sake using the GOD’S name, but not for His Glory.

So those who comforted themselves with General Terms, traditional church Doctrines, Dogmas, Slogans, and clichés such us that those who believe in GOD are saved, and according to such people nothing more is required from them, and they cannot lose their salvation just because they are saved, I would recommend to think twice before it may be too late, and examine themselves where they are truly stand before their Lord.

The only place there salvation cannot be reversed and be lost is in Heaven, in the Kingdom of GOD, but on the Earth people only received the way to salvation through the Word of GOD, through obedience to GOD’S Commandments and Statutes, through Sacrifice of Christ, through His Forgiveness, and through His Mercy and Love, as long as they obey and follow their Lord.

And those who fell from the Lord will lose everything they accumulated so far, and their salvation as well if they will not keep themselves on the constant alert against temptations and all sorts of evil of this world.
