Exactly. When some Buddhists - and there is a LOT of them - talk about remembering their past lives, and talk about the effects of karma on what level of existence an individual will "come back at", then, yeah, they are speaking of what is commonly understood as "reincarnation" - they can call it "rebirth" all day long - same thing, different word. And you and I agree reincarnation makes no sense because there is no individual substance, essence or whatever to be reincarnated.

- With a small "c", as in the sense of someone being "a good christian" - a colloquialism in the U.S. that simply means " a good person who follows the Golden Rule"? Sure, why not.

- In the sense that you are implying that I believe in a literal way in any biblical scheme of salvation or other "supernatural" concepts that would be endorsed by the creed or the doctrinal belief of any orthodox or literalist Christian group - well, no, that wouldn't be accurate. So, if given a chance I would correct this false impression that you are giving of me.
