Is it just me, or does it seem to anybody else that certain ads popping up on this site have no business being on a Christian web site? I almost felt targeted for temptation at times.
You need an ad blocker; they are free. Download one. I don't see any of this, (assuming you are serious).

I don't know why, he admitted innocently, but I get a lot of women's clothing ads here that definitely push the boundaries of PG-13. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Speaking of which, they sure know the audience here.

My boss asked me to look at a commercial data management platform, so I did.

For a while every single ad on any site I visited was for that system.

Also, ad blockers are immoral. Sites like these require subscription or ad revenue to function. It is correct to use either the former or the latter, not neither.

By that logic, it would also be immoral to fast forward your DVR through commercials of a recorded show, or skipping the previews on a DVD, or waiting until the commercials to go to the bathroom during the Super Bowl.

It isn't, because the revenue for those items is received up front.

Advertisement on the Forum

Christian Forums has limited control over the advertising on the forum. We can filter ads after we see them, which is done on a regular basis by Rex. However, there are many ad networks that advertise here. If you see an ad that slipped through and is objectionable, please note which network the ad is coming from by rolling over the ad with your mouse and noting the URL in the status bar at the bottom. Copy the destination URL by right clicking and selecting "copy link address", then post this information in a Contact Us Form. Staff will then quickly locate the ad and remove it. Without the URL link, we would literally be searching through thousands of ads manually. Please follow these instructions and do not discuss these ads in public forums.
