I believe Jehovah's Witnessess use a Watchtower tranlation. (Watchtower is the head of JW's in Brooklyn, New York. If you want to learn more about the Watchtower, take a look at this site: http://www.geocities.com/heartland/2919
Many of Jehovah's Witnesses use the New World Translation, though not all. Since there are millions of Jehovah's Witnesses in all corners of the globe speaking hundreds of languages, the New World Translation is not available to all. So, they use whatever Bible is available in their indigenous language, but primarily seek out a translation that has faithfully retained the divine name of Almighty God. (Especially have English Bibles removed God's name and substituted it with either LORD or GOD in all capital letters.--compare Psalm 83:18 in an older King James Bible with a newer King James Bible.)

One may want to explore the site www.watchtower.org for more info and insight.

I believe that we can be sure:

2 Peter 1
5For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. 8For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.
10Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, 11and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Sounds like you are promoting J.W.'s. Isn't that against forum rules?

The Watchtower Society teaches that the 144,000 of Rev 7:4 is to be taken literally. If chapter 7 of Revelation is to be taken literally, where then does the Bible say that the 144,000 will come from? (See Rev 7:5- 8).
That is a good question. Do you know the difference between the Israel of God and the racial descendents of Jacob?

All who are saved can have assurance

Matthew 18

12"What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. 14In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.

If judgement day came tomorrow, are you safe and sure to say that you will go to heaven?

Yes. I can say with 100o/o assurance that I will go to Heaven, but I want to make it clear that it's not because of anything I've done, but because Jesus, in His great mercy, reached out to save a sinner like me.

That's why when I go to Heaven and God asks me why He should allow me to enter, all I can do is to say in the words of the great old hymn, "Nothing in my hand I bring, simply to Thy cross I cling".
