Well now this thread has deteriorated. I guess I added to it with my earlier crankyness, Z is obviously rubbing off on me.
Louise my sister. Sometimes you have to breathe. Really. God may have granted you a gift of discernment ok but you have to learn to apply it correctly. It takes time and practice.
Can we just address an issue you've raised in a previous post. The bit about God creating Satan to test us. That would make God the author of evil.
When God made the creation it was Very Good. Satan as a created being was very good. In fact I'm tempted to go so far as to say he was the most beautiful personal being the Lord had ever created.
The problem is free will.
Consider the following statement.
God Forces everyone to always Freely make the right choice.
Just mull it over for a second. It doesn't make sense right?
It's like a square triangle or married bachelor.
God is also not the author of confusion.
He is the God of all true things, in fact he is truth.
Satan is a created being endowed with freedom of the will.
Evil is not a created thing, it is a privation of God's will. Just as cold is the absence of heat, it doesn't have a created property of itself. It's just simply not heat or no heat.
God did not create Satan to test us, Satans a free willed creature who has developed a talent for encouraging us to freely not choose to do God's will. However he can't make you do anything in Christ, you are free to choose.
If Satan was annihilated tomorrow you'd still have your free will, then who would we blame? I'm not addressing you directly when I say that Christians are often too eager to blame Satan for things they can freely choose not to do. In fact now that I think about it a true Christian can't even make that claim.
Accusing The Accuser, which is funny because one of the properties the bible assigns to Satan is the accuser of the brethren. I'd be careful about making accusations that, someone doesn't have love. I'm sure the girl has love. Her brains just a little over active. This is a good thing if she harnesses it correctly. She'll probably be able to digest vast amounts of visual information, if she hasn't already learned to do it. She'd probably make a good detective. I seriously doubt she's possessed and we all have problems with our soul including you my lovely sister. This is not a accusation merely an assertion of biblical fact.
