  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Wife left months ago, will divorce. Common reason.
Does anyone have an idea of the percentage of women who return after divorce and restore the marriage?

I know all is possible in and with God. And I know that people also make choices. I plan to follow God's Word on the matter, but I would like to know or hear of any testamony or evidence that a hard hearted divorcee will turn soft.
Thanks, God Bless

A good story. My wife is the 100% raw emotion, I won't let reason get in the way of a good arguement type. Psychology Today by Rachel Clark, she appears to have some maturity and some intellegence.

Bangers and mash Fred, bangers and mash:confused:

I have no idea of the precentages of wives that return to marry their EX. Seems like it would be the same precentage as men who return .... lol

But I do hear of people remarrying. I'm thinking no higher than 5%. Total guess.

We all need to remember that the plural of anecdote is not data.

I wonder how many are prevented from remarrying by pride, either their own or their partner's, rather than any other block?

Been there. Done that. Smoked the cheap, smelly cigar.

It was twenty years between the marriages, the last one lasted two years before the second divorce. The second marriage confirmed that the first divorce was for a good reason. Being cheated on, lied to, lied about and abused is no way to go through life, but I suppose it works for some people.
