Question!

Hello!
I was wondering if anybody could help me out a little. I'm a new Christian, and I've been struggling with a couple things. I have no Christian friends, and the people I live with aren't exactly supportive. I think it would really help me a lot if I could attend a church service. So, here's my question. Do I need to be a "member" of the Salvation Army to attend a service? If not, is there anything I should know before I go? I'm a little nervous, I only really have experience with the Roman Catholic church. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No, you don't have to be a member to attend a service and no, they are most definitely a cult. God bless you, I pray you get all your questions answered!
