The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No not at all I'n the bible rebuking is used to fight off the enemy and from what I know about blasphemy It's that life long rejection of the Holy Spirit. Hopes this helps...

if you mean rebuking in general no not at all..
but if you are rebuking in order to counter ocd thoughts that is unhealty and i agree with sea joy on that it just feeds the cycle ..
its hard not too .. i know ..and it might take practice to stop ..
heres something else to consider ...lets say you were rebuking the devil for sending these thoughts to youre mind ...well do you really think he would listen to you ..no ...thats like feeding gum drops to a hungry lion .
and i have heard some say claim the blood ...well actually its the other way around you have been claimed by the blood you were purchased with a price .. and you can claim the blood all you want but if youre brain is malfunctioning its malfunctioning ,,,so through his blood ask for healing but be willing to accept it through doctors and meds if he so desiries
im just making a general statement here im not saying this is what you are doing armor .
