I was thinking more of its Yin/Yang teaching that I once challenged Taoists to explain Hurricane Katrina with.

Or even Supertyphoon Pamela that my wife and I went through in '76.

The Yin/Yang philosophy is basically stating that everything must be in 'balance' to exist in harmony with nature IIRC

So then what caused Hurricane Katrina, according to Taoism? mother nature, or too much good weather that needed offset by bad?
