Question on Mind-reading Demons

Hey all

It's always been my understanding that demons cannot read one's thoughts, because they don't share the omniscience that God has, they can only input thoughts. However, it just occurred to me now, as I was going to bed (ever notice that some of your best thinking happens when you're about to go to sleep etc?) that there are such phenomena that would be considered demonic in nature that involve this ability to mind-read, such as telepathy. Now, how does such a thing like this work on the understanding that demons cannot read thoughts?

I have had a little experience in demonology, and I can tell you this much.
If you are possessed of a demon, or have a familiar spirit, they do know what your thinking, but not over your freewill to make choices.

Demons can and do communicate with each other, so the experience of "Telepathy" can be created in proxy by the familiar spirit passing on the insider info from another. Channeling and Seances work in similar fashion.

But generally unless they have "insider trading" they are as short sighted about what is going on as everyone else.
