Don't tell me that the tech doesn't exist to make realistic convincing crowds from certain angles and distances.

I can go and buy tools to add realistic crowds to photos and video right now if I wanted. To answer your question....not this rabbit hole. I specifically avoided the AI crowd claim because I didn't want to do what I ended up doing here....zooming in on photos and video lol. This is my first look at it...maybe I'm entirely wrong...but let's not pretend it's some insane suggestion.

This is the rabbit hole I've been down.

It bugs me that there's no confirmation or debunking of the scrubbing claim.

We have been told almost nothing on what's arguably the closest a president has come to being assassinated since Reagan....and it's weird how quickly the media moved on.

Edit- to put it more bluntly...

1. Trump shooting, July 14th.
2. Sonya Massey shooting, July 6th.

If I go to CNN's homepage, search for stories about the Trump shooting....nothing for weeks. If I get more specific and add terms like the shooter's name or secret service...I get a video of the former head of the secret service getting chewed out that's about a week old.

If I just put in Sonya Masseys name...I get a story about her from today....the 14th of August, as if it just happened yesterday. Tragic as it is...it's hard to imagine it's a bigger story than the one around the guy who shot off part of the President's ear.

It's not exactly a subtle bias in these news organizations anymore. I've never seen a more deliberate and coordinated media astroturfing than this. There's a ton of unanswered questions about that shooting....and zero interest from the mainstream media. When did he learn how to make bombs? He's a 20yo social worker with no military service and only a passing interest in guns. How good were the bombs? Did he Vaseline his threads? Was his home scrubbed? Why did his father call the police worried about his son shortly before the shooting? Did he send his dad a cryptic or scary message? Why were snipers watching this kid crawl around on a roof with a gun? Did he have OCD? Is that why his house was scrubbed?

I know they're still investigating but...the story the feds seem to be sticking to is the "lone shooter" who had no friends in real life and didn't use hardly any social media online either....just some references to multiple encrypted accounts that nobody followed up on. If he's alone on this...I don't see why we wouldn't be getting new details as they're discovered. Instead, it's almost nothing. We have Iran literally hacking Trump's phone (maybe) trying to coordinate assassinations of Trump (definitely) and there's no deep dives on why one of our current enemies that we're in conflict with seems to desperately want Trump to lose and Harris to win? No?

I guess it's just 5 stories a day on how great Harris' "vibes" are....

Just out of curiosity @iluvatar5150 ...it doesn't seem as if CNN, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, and basically any major TV news network other than Fox (obviously) is working directly for the benefit of the Democratic Party to you?

The fuselage is way higher than the crowd. You can’t see a reflection if its not at the same level. For example, if you held a mirror above your head you would see what is behind you. In this case buildings in the distance. Pretty basic....I guess.

But they’re not lined up right to the plane. Most of what you see in the reflection is the space between the crowd and the plane.

In the video that was posted an SUV with the SS drives between the crowd and the plane and parks at the foot of the stairs. They even have room to turn the SUV at an angle. The crowd was never under the wing.
Also, some of the SS agents stand facing the crowd and watch them before Harris leaves the plane. She and Walz are then quickly escorted in front of the crowd from the plane to wherever they went to prepare for their appearance.
There's nothing fake about it and it just shows how desperate Trump is becoming.

If the resolution of the photograph were high enough you could probably zoom in enough to actually be able to make them out, but at the resolution presented it just looks like a dark strip in line with the reflection of the hanger they're all standing in front of. And it's been pointed out several times that the people are at least 50 yards away from the plane, certainly not right next to it.

Yeah...they don't teach you how to make bombs in associate engineering. That's going to require some chemistry.

That strikes me as odd...since most parents wouldn't be surprised at their 20 year old missing for a few hours.

More important....was the house scrubbed? Was there no silverware? Was there no trash at all?

There's a severe foreshortening effect - the crowd is nowhere near as close to the plane as they seem to be based purely on the photo. This is somewhat more evident in the third (most zoomed out) photo you posted.

Yes and has been pointed out the crowd went from the plane all the way into the hanger.

I am not an internet expert as others are, but I do know you can see the tarmac and the hanger and nothing else.

It has to do with the geometry of the surface on which they're being reflected. A flat surface is going to make the images look the correct size for the distance of the image; a concave surface will make things look larger (or closer); and a convex surface will make them look smaller (or farther away). That's why makeup mirrors are concave - they act like a magnifying glass so you can see what you're doing. It's also why sideview mirrors on cars are convex (ditto for those mirrors they install on blind corners or at the end of a driveway) - they act like a fisheye lens, making things smaller so you can have a wider field of view.

This was the source of a famous gag in Jurassic Park:

Anyways, the engine cowling and aircraft fuselage are both convex, which means they're going to make the reflections look smaller than they would in a flat mirror.
