Peace be upon you
If you could spend one day with anyone from throughout history, who would it be and why?
Hmmm. I'll probably change my mind a million times, but my first thought is Eleanor Roosevelt (I'd pick Jesus, but that's too easy). I just think that she sounds like a very interesting person. I liked that she was pro-civil rights, pro-feminism, and pro-human rights.
If you had one day with unlimited money and could go anywhere, how would you spend it and why?
I would go back to North Carolina and buy a house, fill up the house with furniture and personal items, and buy a car for the garage. Then I'd explore my new home city. Or, if I want to not be practical, I would fly to Europe and spend time in London, Prague, and Budapest (yes, I know I'd need more than one day for that, so I'm cheating
).
If you could choose one book or writing from throughout history to own, what would it be?
I'm not sure, actually. That's an interesting question.
Do you have a favourite film or book character?
Anne Shirley (of Anne of Green Gables) was my favorite for a long time. I'm not sure now, though. It's early and no other characters are coming to mind, so maybe I'll answer this later.
Do you have a book or film which you most relate to and why?
This one I'll have to come back to as well. There's no quick answer to this one for me.
Which one of the seven wonders of the world would you have most liked to visit?
The Lighthouse of Alexandria. I'm not sure why other than it speaks to me.
If you could visit one city, ancient or modern, which would it be and why?
London because it just seems like a fascinating city. As one of my former professors used to call it, "a global city."
If you could change one action throughout history in the world, what would it be and why?
