Well that's where the confusion would come in, had Moses written Genesis (which he didn't). He'd not have understood the Babylonian numbering system and that's why he got it wrong.Did the Egyptians use a base 10 numbering system?
Hardly the point. Our numbering system is base 10 and we propogate the mathematical error once made. Just as the Hebrew system would have done. I have no idea, by the way, whether either system was base 10.And lastly is the Hebrew numbering system not base 10?
