How does the big bang theorie work? I don't get how an explosion can create something! If you blow something up it would destroy it not create it. And also how can you believe the chances of it forming like that? It's like throwing a puzzle up in the air and just having hope that the puzzle pieces will go together and form the picture! Please explain this to me.

Okay, you're looking for responses from scientists, not "evolutionists." Evolution is simply another scientific theory, specifically about biology. You're looking for information from cosmologists or perhaps physicists.

The Big Bang Model is a broadly accepted theory for the origin and evolution of our universe. It postulates that 12 to 14 billion years ago, the portion of the universe we can see today was only a few millimeters across. It has since expanded from this hot dense state into the vast and much cooler cosmos we currently inhabit.
The explosion that hurled matter and in all directions. Georges Lemaître propose that the universe began with the explosion of a primeval atom. But the theory of the big bang probably will never be proved.
Ok the reason alot of people believe in evolution is cause there is evidence that back ups the theory. And There is no evidence of any god or gods in the universe, But some people use the Metaphysical (supernatural) to explain things that they don't understand.

It should be noted the Big Bang was not a traditional "explosion". Rather, it was a rapid expansion of space-time itself.

I'm pretty sure that the universe started off as an infinitesimal dot. I think it came from a virtual particle of some sort...or was the result of a virtual activity. Anyway, the universe would not assemble itself into galaxies and all in a week. That is why the 'fact' that the universe is billions of years old support this theory. It does need some time for things to happen. For order to emerge.
But then again, time is relative...and not just in the context of Einstein's theories. 12 billion years is not a long time. Perhaps only long compared to our punily short lives. Days and years mean nothing. I don't see how a billion years is less likely than a thousand years.

Could someone explain to me what an "evolutionist" is? From the way it is treated here, it there seems to be a lot included in the term besides someone convinced of the theory of evolution.

OK, since the definition (it's in the DICTIONAIRY after all) says it is about biological evolution, why do anti-evolution/science people continue to demand that evolutionists answer questions about geology, geophysics, physics, cosomology, biochemistry, et al? Shouldn't you guys be honest and say that it's not evolutionists you don't agree with, but any scientist that has the audacity to study subjects that disagree with the dogma of your sect?

In the strict sense nothing in science is ever proved including evolution and that the Earth goes around the Sun.
But one can demonstrate to within a reasonable doubt.
The evidence is conclusive that in every direction from Earth was once in very dense. That is what the cosmic microwave background being radiation from a blackbody tells us. Either there was a Big Bang or some event very similiar to it.
