A friend of mine who is an adherent to theSA was involved in door knocking last year for the annual Red Shield appeal. All his money went into the machine but someone trying to discredit him stole his books after he had left. This person had the termerity to gloat in his face a few days after. No one from the church has ever challenged him on the issue but the perpetrator got what they wanted. A level of distrust toward my friend whom I know to be of high integrity.
My question is this: He wants to become a soldier and is afraid the issue of the missing books will stand in his way is he correct?. The books were after all only an account of the money, not the actual money.
Thanks
