I was wondering if God sends judges or mighty ones after the cross?

Judges are defined in the books of judges. And psalm 82 was written as a guideline to these might men, who God gave permission to judge the world.

but one has to bear in mind that God's verdict on the time of the Judges was not entirely good. Many times the book of Judges says "Everyone did as he saw fit" as if frowning on what the author considered moral laxity in that era. The judges were mainly leaders who awakened God's people to sin and turned them back to God. But they weren't flawless; besides the famous story of Samson, there is the ambiguous tale of Jephthah sacrificing his daughter, etc.
