Question about my med's

Does anyone know how long 2.5 mg of valium last. Imean the effects that relieve the anxiety not the half life. MY doc gives me 5 mg tabs and I'm only supposed to take 2.5 twice daily but I've been cheating myself and my doc. I've been taking more than I supposed to and I always feel a convition for it and on top of that I I don't have enough for the rest of the week .I do have a addictive personality. but I don't take the meds to get high just to reduce anxiety. but for now on I'm going to take it like I'm perscibed so please pray for me andany imput on this would be appreciated.

prayed for you.....please keep us posted on how you are doing!
I know sometimes we feel so desperate for relief that we do things like taking too much medication.
Please remember, the relief is only for a short time until the medication wears off or is gone. Please take the amount that is prescribed so you won't hurt yourself.

Thank U Q I hope the 2.5 is as effective as taking the5 but please pray for me that I will endure this temptation and come out alot stronger.

God Bless you Dabro. It's always good to take it as prescribed. If yo feel it is not helping enough after a couple weeks talk to your doctor and mabye he will find some alternative.
