I love responding to other people's material, strenuously copy and pasted. The first thing I notice is that when I google this material, it only pulls you up over and over and over on different forums copying and pasting this same stuff. How about that. You're here posting it, you're on CARM forums posting it, you're on Prophecy Fellowship forums posting it... but I can't find any author or source.

BL - I love your board-eye hypocrisy running others down because they dont focus on dealing with your absolute, infallible, interpretations of the scripture, and look! Right now! Your doing it!

Blue,
Do you have kids?

I can't debate the significance of the ending of Hebrew words, but I can testify to the definite fact that babies, still in the womb, are just as alive you and I, just a filled with the "breath of life" as you and I.

Ever watch your unborn child via those "4D" sonograms where you can see the face, you can interact with the child that you can't touch? Ever speak against the stomach of your pregnant wife and watch your unborn child smile and react to your voice? Ever poke them to see if you can bother them and watch them jerk away from that area of the womb and crinkle their eyebrows and nose in disgust?

Those aren't just physical responses to stimuli, like a plant. That's a living, breathing, human interaction... They definitely have souls.

MOD HAT ON

Hey folks, settle down. The personal insults need to stop or else I'll close the thread for awhile. Stick to the topic and stop making personal comments about each other.

Hey bluelightning, don't you think that matters like this should be taboo? I mean, "Anything that is not of faith is sin" If its not something we are absolutely sure about, and maybe an issue of immorality, isnt it something a child of God would want to leave in the hands of God? What if that baby is alive and could suffer at conception? Who could really know this but God? And if you are against late term abortion, somewhere along the line you decided that you should protect that baby. But we started out from the beginning believing this way, and never changed our belief. Its a matter of a few months, and ones mind changing, and anothers not changing. PS- Did you see my profile of the baby with its fingers crossed, lol.

I posted this on another sight, but I'll post it here too. My daughter Leeah had complications, and we found out later that har baby girl had cerebral palsy. She is six now and also has a rare disease that the doctors dont even know about. She has always been stomach fed, has seizures, and been in hospice twice. My daughter protects her and does everything she can to save her daughter. She is such a good mother, and I"m really proud of her. And this is why I said to you on another sight, perfect love casts out fear. I believe its a mothers instinct, and its from God. I"ve seen it.

Not when the bible specifically shows otherwise.

What if that baby is alive and could suffer at conception? Who could really know this but God?

No brain, no pain.

It's not a baby, it's a fetus. By the third trimester, an abortion is a major procedure and should not be undertaken except to save the life of the woman. Brain systems are also in place at that time for pain to possibly be conceived by the fetus, so that also must be taken into consideration.

PS- Did you see my profile of the baby with its fingers crossed, lol.

Are you that desperate for somebody to comment on it?

Yeah, I'm desperate for a comment, whats wrong with that. If you knew how long (days) it took me to figure out how to post a pic, you would understand, lol. I know what an avatar is now.
And just because tou say "no brain, no pain" and just because you use scripture to support your own views, doesnt effect the truth that a baby may suffer. Only God would know that, and only he is omniscient. What you believe (if its wrong) is bidding others Godspeed. And remember what the scripture says, Jn. 16:2 ...yea,the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that they do God service."

If you think something without a brain can feel pain, there's not much anybody can do to help you.

I've shown you scripture, I've shown you science, I've shown you logic.

The problem for anyone using Genesis 2:7 as an argument for the breath of life ("ensoulment") and likening it to babies is this: Before God breathed into Adam the breath of life, Adam was a pile of dirt. Adam was just dirt in the shape of man until God breathed on him the breath of life ( the same breath that spoke worlds into existence) and he became human. Unborn babies are not dirt. They are already alive. Though some might argue they are just a pile of cells, we are just piles of cells, just a lot more.

Also, when one accepts abortion as a biblically condoned act, one MUST IGNORE many other passages of scriptures. Since we are in Genesis, a great place to start is Genesis 9:6

"Whoever sheds human blood,
by humans shall their blood be shed;
for in the image of God
has God made mankind."

That is very cut and dry. No interpretations are needed. It states it plain and simple. If a human should shed another human's blood, their blood shall be shed. We know that although babies may not be breathing oxygen like we are, but we know they have their own blood and type seperate from the mother's. Since they do have a different type of blood from the mother, we can discern that they are in fact two seperate humans. If the blood of the baby is shed, according to Old Testament rule, those who shed were to have their's shed. Genesis 9:6 makes that abundantly clear.

Yes of course it has a brain, more than some I know. To say a baby doesnt have a brain is a brainless comment. It might not be fully developed, but it has surpassed the brains of some I know. God hears the cries of injustice, and injustics comes from psychos like Hitler and others who think they are logically right. Christian pastors, mothers, and others are going to disagree with you. Are they illogical? Ask a young girl if its allright to stop a babies life. Use too, if a woman, or man wanted an abortion, they would hit the womon in the stomach. Another words, the husband/father would beat the child to death. But we have evolved from those savage tactics. Now we poison, or mutilate them. Who's illogical now?
