LONDON (The Borowitz Report)— “In an unexpected televised address on Saturday, Queen Elizabeth II offered to restore British rule over the United States of America. Addressing the American people from her office in Buckingham Palace, the Queen said that she was making the offer “in recognition of the desperate situation you now find yourselves in.” “This two-hundred-and-forty-year experiment in self-rule began with the best of intentions, but I think we can all agree that it didn’t end well,” she said. The Queen urged Americans to write in her name on Election Day, after which the transition to British rule could begin “with a minimum of bother.”

I read that after the "American Revolution"
"Independence" was total fiction !

The corporations and banks and money in the states continued UNINTERRUPTED
to send tribute/ taxes/ bribes to the queen, non stop.

Only the sheeple thought they had gained independence if that is so,
(or even today? ) ....

Well she ain't George III.

If she dumps her son maybe we will talk.

British officer friend told me she has a very good sense of humor. His Regiment held a dinner for the Queen. He was the escort officer. He went to fetch the drill guard and snagged a button on his uniform. He sat back down with the button attached with some adhesive quickly applied. Some told a joke, he politely laughed at the joke and the button fell off.

She said point blank...."oh poppy Philip is not that funny to pop that button."

Because USA having to choose only between Trump and Hillary, there must be something badly broken in the system....

Both are terrible candidates who are very corrupt.

It's very pathetic and USA does needs help! They need fixing!

Almost every country is corrupt. I've also been to the Middle East, South East Asia, and New Zealand (they use UK system). I've lived and worked in each at least 4 months, 2 years at most.

It's just a matter of bad, worse, worst cases of corruption.

The worst cases often leads to instability and infighting/anarchy. Many of such cases in Africa despite being rich in resources. So it's not about having lots of resources/ways to make money. It's how you handle it. Greed will only need to corruption and disaster.

Countries with the greediest people on average have the worst cases of corruption, very high crime rates, very low quality of life, and very high emigration rates.

USA is not as corrupt as in many 3rd world countries. But a broken system still needs fixing. It doesn't matter if a lot more countries are worse, it still needs to be fixed!
