I had a friend tell me he and his wife started Qi Gong and ask me about it, I really know nothing.
So far I am liking the exercise and stretching effect, just starting watching some videos this morning. I think Thachi has the meditation part that I would defiantly pass on, but does seek to expand your Qi or Chee, what ever that is.

So what are your thoughts, is Qi Gong ok for a Christian to try/experience?

I, me, me personally, I don't see the big deal in stretching exercises.

Now if you start doing some of the weird meditation stuff that these eastern ways incorporate then, yeah, maybe that could be bad. I watched a couple different Youtubers who just do pilates and Shirlyn Kim and April Han are my favorite. But there was one I came across who had like hypnotic music playing and the way she told people to focus and meditate creeped me out. I felt tingly (a sign demons are near) and was like, oh no, nah uh, not dealing with this.

So, do whatever your comfortable with, but I would exercise (heh heh pun) caution on how the instructor gives the class. Stretching in and of itself is not witchcraft or demonic, but the meditating-part can be. If Qi Gong is just stretching, then I see no issue with it.

If you have doubts, find some non-religious exercise. It should not be hard in today's world in which so many people are focused on fitness.

Just seeking others experiences, viewpoints and I do have to provide some feedback to a non-believing friend. As I mention so far no big concerns.......but east or west, we know the enemy is around to mislead and deceive, so I am always watchful.

Most of the people I know who practice taichi or qigong are about as religious as a kitchen chair and their "meditations" largely involve which tile to throw next when playing mahjohng. They do the exercises because it's good for them, end of.
