Pretty much. We decorate the day after Thanksgiving...even though nobody seems to hold conventional traditions like that in high esteem anymore, I do. :D I'm a woman of a bygone era, I guess. :)

When was the last time you went and had your hair done at a salon?

Who do I admire? Anyone who is true, honorable, and sincerely kind...who doesn't take pleasure in the pain of others...who stands for what is right and good and isn't petty or cruel...who pray because they are connected to God, not because they want praise for it, and who mean what they say and say what they mean. I admire those who survive and are better for their journey. And I admire good men who are gentle with children and women...and women who don't put down women or themselves for a cheap laugh or approval. I admire hard workers who don't boast. Charity that is done in secret with no need for man's pat on the back and people who are strong enough to say, I care, I feel for you, and mean it.

I'm sorry...but, I don't think succintness is appropriate for this answer. The question warrented a real answer.

Have you ever been so hurt by the "I don't care, not my problem" attitude of the world that you found it hard to breathe?

Oh, yes. Especially when I was younger; I'm naturally empathetic and I could not understand how anyone could be so callous. But it still upsets me. My old roommate was a physicist and he was enamored of weapons science. I had a long argument with him about the implications of his actions. He refused to take any responsibility for what others might do with the technology he sold them, and it made me very upset- it was another very solid block between us in an already fracturing relationship, and we never had another real conversation after that.

Have you ever lost your appetite/eaten compulsively trying to cope with loneliness?

yes....there've been times I've just shut-down...

Have you ever blubbered while watching a slide show of tragic events with music that just fit and what made you blubber was the part about GOd's grace in spite of the tragedies?
