I have three pics that got scanned in, and two are really old. This one is my highschool yearbook picture:

I include the old ones because the HS one is my favorite pic of me, and the college one reminds me of a really fun night. I was sitting on a policeman's motorcyle in San Francisco during a Chinese New Year parade.

Yeah, as for the tub: I take a bath once a month. . . whether I need it or not!

Seriously, the retreat location had this tub sitting out in parlor. Weird stuff. So, needless to say, Dan and I had to get a picture.

Man, if I'd known that's what this thread was about, I would've joined in long ago. Who would've thought an online forum would be so full of pretty ladies?!

Well, I didn't want to leave anybody out. Seriously, I tend to think people are always more attractive than they imagine themselves to be. Everybody is worried, "will they think I look okay?" But they don't realize everybody is rooting for them. It's a friendly forum.

Yes, it is a friendly forum. It's just that online, there's this feeling like we can be judged by our words and personalities, not our appearance, which is something we don't really get anywhere else. So taking the step to show our faces feels a little vulnerable.

That, plus those of us who have had stalkers in the past tend to get squeamish about posting pics.

Thanks all for being encouraging to chicken-girl who was afraid to show her face around here.
