Could be. I think people shy away from such interpretations out of fear of being wrong. But Deuteronomy 30 shows us that God is actively working on bringing His promises. The promises of God are dependent on God’s faithfulness, not ours. God made a covenant with Abraham. That covenant is not annulled just because Jesus opened the promises to all people. Romans 11 is clear on that. Even if millions of Jews reject Jesus, God has already elected a remnant to always follow Jesus where he goes.

“I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel? “Lord, they have killed Your prophets, they have torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they are seeking my life.” But what is the divine response to him? “I have kept for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God’s gracious choice.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

“Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder, and the voice which I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps. And they *sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one could learn the song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who had been purchased from the earth. These are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they have kept themselves chaste. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from among men as first fruits to God and to the Lamb. And no lie was found in their mouth; they are blameless.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭14‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

“But I will leave among you A humble and lowly people, And they will take refuge in the name of the Lord. The remnant of Israel will do no wrong And tell no lies, Nor will a deceitful tongue Be found in their mouths; For they will feed and lie down With no one to make them tremble.” At that time I will bring you in, Even at the time when I gather you together; Indeed, I will give you renown and praise Among all the peoples of the earth, When I restore your fortunes before your eyes,” Says the Lord.”
‭‭Zephaniah‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬-‭13‬, ‭20‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬
Have you ever read what happens to everyone in Israel who doesn't have his name and the name of his father written in their foreheads ?

Yep. The fifth trumpet.
In more detail. While the 144000 are having their father's name written in the their foreheads, everyone else in Israel is being slaughtered.Them who are being slaughtered have all committed great sin.

Ezekiel 9
9 He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.

3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;

4 And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof

5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:

6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

7 And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.

8 And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord God! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?

9 Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The Lord hath forsaken the earth, and the Lord seeth not.

10 And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.

11 And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.

I wanted to revisit a theory that Jesus' parable of the fig tree in Matthew 24:32-35 suggests that Israel's progressive restoration is a sign that the time of the end is near. To do this, I want to go back to Ezekiel 36, where God treats the surrounding nations and "Edom" the way they treated Israel by reversing the curses back on them and blessing Israel. Take a look at the similarities:

"Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near;"
- Matthew 24:32 NASB1995

"But you, O mountains of Israel, you will put forth your branches and bear your fruit for My people Israel; for they will soon come."
- Ezekiel 36:8 NASB1995

I suggest that the parable of the fig tree is a reference to Ezekiel 36:8 and provides us guidelines on when to look out for signs. We know that the Mandate of Palestine was given over to the Jews that fled Europe after the Holocaust in 1948, forming the nation of Israel. When they returned they sought a nation that honored God above all and obey His commands (even though they still reject Jesus). Take a look at Deuteronomy 30.

"Moreover the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD you God with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live. The LORD your God will inflict all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecute you. And you shall again obey the LORD, and observe all His commandments which I command you today."
- Deuteronomy 30:6-8 NASB1995

In both Ezekiel 36 and Deuteronomy 30, God says He will turn the curses He placed against Israel against those who persecute him. This is HUGE.

Now take a look at Revelation 6's six seals. Jesus opens a sealed scroll, which is the deed to the promises God made to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, and the Twelve Apostles. Take a look and notice how they all lead to one another:

Seal 1: Restoration of the Land of Israel: Beginning in 1948 and continuing to this day.
Seal 2: Intifadas and Terrorism: Beginning in 1987 and continuing to this day.
Seal 3: Gaza Blockade and Post-war Lebanese Economy, beginning in 2006 and continuing to this day.
Seal 4: Desolation of Gaza in 2023 (and likely Lebanon in the coming months) and continuing to this day.
Seal 5: Islamist Jihad across the world stemming from protests of the War in Gaza in 2024. Likely to intensify after the U.S. presidential election.
Seal 6: Sign of the Son of Man. The elect remnant of Israel given seal of protection.
Seal 7: The Great Tribulation begins (against the world). God will stop restraining the son of perdition so the people of God can be refined (See Zech 13:8-9).

Given that, and understanding how sensationalist this comes across, I think we should be getting our things in order (as every generation should). David once wrote that a generation is 70-80 years old. 1948 + 80 = 2028. The Time of the End is 3.5 years. Makes you wonder.

I imagine many will disagree with me, and that's fine. Just staying watchful. God bless.
To be clear, I despise the website RaptureReady and all the evil rapture nonsense they promote. That said, I do sometimes read various things there just on the off chance that there is something useful there.

I saw this article there which might interest you. Sevens

So I will give this guy props for solving the historical meaning of Daniel 9 in relation to Jesus. That is a big deal.

Basically, his insight is that one meaning of Dan 9 is that 'sevens' (what is normally translated as 'weeks') actually means '7th' - as in the 7th day / 7th year, but also means the 7th sabbath year (ie the 49th Jubilee year).

69 sets of 7 years (including the initial 444 BC year which is a sabbath year) gives us 32/ 33 AD for Jesus. 68 x 7 = 476 years + 1 year which is also a sabbath year means there are 69 Sabbath years from the decree to rebuild Jerusalem until Jesus came.

When understood as 70 x Jubilee Sabbath years (70 x 49), we get 3430 years.

Nisan 10, 1406 BC as the beginning of being in the promised land plus 3430 years gets us to 9 Nisan/ 10 Nisan, 2025 (April 7 / 8, 2025).

You can literally read Dan 9:24 as talking about that exact day, dusk April 7th, 2025 as being the exact day of the fulfillment of 70 Jubilee cycles it takes to get a 'most holy'. That 'most holy' is the 'angel' that confirms the Mosaic covenant which is the Revelation 10 mighty angel who is making an oath by heaven, earth, and sea. Swearing an oath is synonymous with 'confirming the covenant'. It will take 7 days to purify the altar (Exodus 29:37) (taking us to dusk April 14, 2025). Of course, this covenant will be broken (at the 7th Trumpet) and then God will pour out wrath on the Feast of Tabernacles 2028 when they don't worship (Zech 14).

Presumably, that is why I have April 13 (Passover) or dusk April 14 as the start of the 1260 days of Rev 11 with the measuring of the temple.
