All my pipes are briar, but I'd like to eventually get a meerschaum. My favorite tobacco blends are Marzipan(an almond flavor, the local tobacconist also adds a little hint of cherry), Port of Call(a blend of Golden Virginia and Mountain Burley soaked in rum and honey), and London Guard 6%(Toasted Cavendish with White Burley, Golden Virginia, and Mountain Latakia).

I have brother. Unfortunately, even though I'm Canadian, I really don't like Canadian Rye. The best rye Canada has to offer is not sold, to my knowledge, outside of Canada. That would include Alberta Springs and Alberta Premium. I think I'd like American rye better considering it is made with more kick. Canadian rye, including Forty Creek, is weak tasting with a rum sweetness and made for mixing. Sad really.

I hate to mix drinks with soda. If I mix it's with natural juices. Mint Julep and whiskey sours.

Forty Creek winery is not very far from my place.
