JM said:Don't tell the rest of US but Canadian Rye Whisky, well, it isn't really Rye. It contains (no joke) sherry, bourbon and lots and lots of rum. The only true Canadian Rye isn't sold in the US. Alberta Premium is not exported. By Canadian Law Canadian Rye just has to contain a minimum amount of Rye but can have almost anything else added. Besides Alberta Premium you have Alberta Springs that contains a high amount of Rye but not 100% Rye.
I don't know why Americans drink Canadian Rye Whisky when they have American (true, 100%, knock you down) Rye.
Well, whatever Windsor is I'm glad they brewed it up. It's pretty good. The price is great as well.
To me though scotch is king. Bourbon is second and Canadian is third. Canadian sells real well down here because it is inexpensive, smooth over ice, and easy to mix into a cocktail. Scotch and bourbon are best warm and straight.
