  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ok, you got me. I rail against Lent and scoff at Christmas but St. Patrick’s Day! That’s another matter. I plan to hit the pub with some libertarian fellas early, probably around 5 for just one LARGE pint ;) of ale and after that a pipe and theological discussion about legalism with some fellas from church.

You?

^Redbreast 15 year I hear is outstanding. But be warned, it isn't cheap.

Haha it's close to $55 bucks! Last time I got together with my buddies they drink the bottle so I don't think I'll spend that much. I would love to try it though.

I was off...the 12 year was $68 bucks for a 26r (canadian for 750mil).

I grabbed a bottle of good old Protestant whiskey...BUSHMILLS! Produced in Northern Ireland, by Ulster Scots, commissioned by King James in 1608.

To God, King and country!

lol

I took the Roomba plunge.

I got the 870. With spare parts and a 2-year warranty it cost me about $650.

I wanted one with the least maintenance. This I believe will help save on parts in the long term and actually give to me time savings so I can cook more and have guests more often.

The 870 has the new software architecture that saves battery power. Being that it has lithium-ion batteries, this helps the batteries last longer

Lastly, it does not have a remote control or fancy options, which I don't want, because they confuse me and I don't want to go home and figure out a gadget.

Hopefully, my cats don't ride around on it.

We shall see. I am considering (once I get the mess out of my living room) of making a youtube channel for my blog (ReformedChristianTheology.com). Stuff would include how to Jehovah's Witnesses and Roman Catholics. Perhaps I will slap a "Work Hard Give Hard" 1 John 3:16 bumper sticker onto the Roomba and post it onto the channel...
