Absolute monarchical totalitarian imperialism is what I find. And I mean that as a compliment. I look forward to it.Since we are in ye pub and speaking about politics what say ye about the type of politics The Lord was fond of during his earthly incarnation? Socialism or even communism is what I find.
The first colonists in America tried that. It didn't work out. The problem was that there were too many unbelievers among them. Those who were lazy didn't work but got to eat anyway. They were a burden on those who did work. It didn't last long.Since we are in ye pub and speaking about politics what say ye about the type of politics The Lord was fond of during his earthly incarnation? Socialism or even communism is what I find. Of course humans can't seem to get it right. I would say capitalism would be the furthest thing from what The Lord preached. Thoughts?
Is there a better description of communism then acts 2:44-45?
44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.
Or how about acts 4:32-35?
32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And Gods grace was so powerfully at work in them all 34 that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.

Jesus was a socialist.....wasn't he?
ABSOLUTELY TRUE. Jesus Christ is King, Our King! He is King over all the World, the Universe, the other powers and authorities, etc. I have dealt with people too many times about this misconception. Not saying that anyone here is in that number, but am using the opportunity as it presents itself. No He was a Monarchist. He is the King you know.
