Wait a minute... in all my roman catholic education I have never heard that reincarnation is part of our beliefs

Well, that depends upon how you define reincarnation. 'Reincarnation' means, basically, entering into, or being born into, a 'new' body. In that sense, the doctrine of the resurrection is the doctrine of a specific type of 'reincarnation'; and Paul refers to this new, changed body, 1st Corinthians 15:51-52:

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

You are mislabeling and misrepresenting Catholic teachings...the Catholic Church has never believed and will never believe in reincarnation...it's silly to even put forth the thought.
